Lois A. Ritchey, age 87, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016. Lois was born in Racine, December 6, 1928, daughter of the late George and Alma (Nee: Ginter) Kirsh.

On November 21, 1951 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church she was united in marriage to James L. Ritchey who preceded her in death, August 24, 2006. Lois was employed by Sears for many years and belonged to the Sears Retiree group. More than anything she cherished time spent with her family and enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards, bingo, reading, and crafts.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Susan L. (John) Clemens; son, James G. (Holly) Ritchey; four grandsons, Eric M. (Wendy) Dowd, Jeffrey J. (Elisa) Dowd, Brad P. (Joni) Ritchey and Jason T. Ritchey; four great-grandchildren, Eric M. Dowd Jr., Grace A. Dowd, James R. Dowd, and William E. Dowd; brother, Ray (Bette) Kirsh; one niece, Nancy J. (Tim) Andersen; two nephews, Jeffrey Kirsh, John Kirsh; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother and sisters-in-law, Donald (Mary Lou) Kirsh, Audrey Sill; and two nephews, Thomas and William Kirsh.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 728 Villa, with Rev. John Roekle officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church or the American Brain Tumor Association have been suggested.
