On October 14th, 2017, Linda peacefully fell asleep surrounded by her Books of the Word and awoke in heaven. She was born in Racine on May 31st, 1951, daughter of Josephine (Nee: Malanche) Mulder and Donald Braun. She was raised in Racine and was a lifelong resident.

Linda touched many lives throughout her employments; starting as a customer service specialist at the Spanish Center and ending as the bookkeeper at the family business, Bailey’s Pub North. She enjoyed cross stitching and crocheting but spent most of her days studying her various bibles. Linda was diligent with her daily devotionals and aimed to learn and live as close to the Lord as possible. She read through, noted, thanked, and initialed her favorite yearlong devotional “Daily Breakthrough” for a total of 12 years.

Linda’s best love next to God was her family who will miss her dearly. She leaves behind one son, Kyle (Becca) Thellefsen and two granddaughters, Olivia Marie and Lola Sue, along with her siblings, Mark Braun, David (Renee) Braun, Michael Braun, and baby sister, Billie Jo (Ross) Dahse; many nieces, nephews; special friend, Emilio Guerra. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, and daughter, Tonya Marie Guerra. Linda was a special woman filled with opinions and a wealth of knowledge of so many things and we will miss her sharing them with all of us. As Linda penned daily, “Thank you Father Son and Holy Ghost”.

Private interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet during a reception to be held Thursday, October 19, 2017, 3:30 P.M. at DeRangos Pizza Palace, 3840 Douglas Avenue.
