Passed away Wednesday August 16, 2023, at Story Point of Kalamazoo, surrounded by family. Linda was born on August 12, 1947, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the Late Walter and Evelyn (Holt) Burke. Early in her life, Linda graduated from Loy Norrix High School. Where she was a member of Tom Kasdorf's Choir. Where she performed in the school musicals. She had a great passion for music and also loved attending musicals at the Barn Theatre. In addition to having three sons, Linda also worked in the Human Resources department for Girl Scouts, where she worked for 10 years. Surviving Linda are her three sons, Brent Daniel, Kent Daniel, Jason Richards; grandchildren, Alec Daniel, Callie Daniel, Becca Daniel; siblings, Sandy (John) Burgess, David (Sue) Burke, Jill (Tom) Elyea, Terry (John) Nelson; and sister-in-law, Judy (Jim) Rustenholtz. Preceding her in passing are her parents; brother, Jack Burke; and brother-in-law, John Burgess. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place and a Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30th at 11:00 am. The service will be held at Camp Merriewood. 12584 Burchette Rd.
