Linda Sue Bower, age 63, of Decatur passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 in Bronson Methodist Hospital Kalamazoo. Linda was born June 11, 1951 in Norfolk, Virginia the daughter of Shirley & Billie Jo (Boyer) Brizendine. She married Steven Bower August 28, 1971 in Berrien Springs & he survives. Also surviving, a daughter Carrie (Troy) Sampsell, a son Jeff (Maria Vigil) Bower both of Decatur, three grand- children, Mason, Allison & Zack, her father Shirley Brizendine of Hastings, brother Robert (Sandy) Brizendine of Tennessee & a half-sister Dana (Tom) Mrozinski of Battle Creek. Friends may call Wednesday 5-8pm in the Newell Funeral Home Decatur where funeral services will be held 2pm Thursday with James Abshagen officiating. Burial in Hamilton Cemetery Decatur. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
