Passed away Friday February 16, 2018 at Oakview Terrace. Lillian was born July 31, 1924 in Kalamazoo. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witness and retired from Portage Public Schools as a bus driver. Lillian was united in marriage in 1946 in Kalamazoo to Woodrow Ellis who preceded her in death in 2012. Also preceding her are four brothers and four sisters. Surviving are a son Steve (Julie) Ellis of Kalamazoo; daughter, Sue (Daniel) Visser of Kalamazoo; Three grandchildren, Megan and Andrew Ellis, Tamara Derhemmer; five great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Friends will be received 5-8 pm Wednesday February 21, 2018 at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo where services will be held 11 am Thursday. Interment will be in Genesee Prairie Cemetery.
