Leonard Jennings

Mr. Leonard P. Jennings, age 63, of Mattawan, MI passed away Sunday afternoon December 3, 2017. Leonard was born February 26, 1954 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Richard and Marla (Resseguie) Jennings. He had been lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Consumers Energy for 35 years, retiring in 2014. Leonard was preceded in death by his father. On April 6, 1998, he was united in marriage to Mikong L. (Kim) Jennings who survives. Also surviving, 2 children, Ottis (Heather) Jennings of Lawton, MI and Angella (Sean) Demerse of Battle Creek, MI; 6 grandchildren; his mother, Marla Jennings of Kalamazoo; a brother, Brian Jennings of Kenner, LA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Friday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Stroke Association.
