Leona McDonald

Mrs. Leona E (Dunn) McDonald, age 86 passed away on January 15, 2016 in Port Charlotte, Fl. She was born in West Swanzey N.H. now residing at Grant MI. and N.Ft. Myers FL. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clesson (Mac) McDonald, also her parents Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dunn and 5 brothers and 4 sisters all from the N.H. area, and one step-daughter Saundra Thomas of Muskegon MI. She is survived by 3 step-children, Clesson (Joan) McDonald Jr. of Fairfax, VA. Geraldyne (Neal) Blakken of Grandville, MI., Sharon (David) Ingram of Marysville MI. and son in-law Charles (Kathleen) Thomas of Hesperia,MI. Several Grand, Great Grand and Great Great Grand Children also several Nieces and Nephews. She worked at Michigan Bell Telephone. Co.for over 25 years. Was very active in Union activities with CWA. She was also a volunteer for the Cape Coral Chapter of Deborah. It is a heart and lung hospital in Browns Mill N.J. Cremation will be performed and ashes will be laid to rest in the grave with her husband, Clesson McDonald at Rosedale Memorial Park, Tallmadge Twp. MI. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Deborah Hospital Heart and Lung Foundation or a charity of one's choice in memory of her. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday January 30, 2016 at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW.
