Leon Edward Crumb, age 75, of Douglas, passed away Sunday October 18, 2015, at his home.

Leon was employed with the Oak Park Schools for 35 years. Following his retirement he moved to Douglas, MI. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Crumb and sisters, Clare Slank and Joan Mueller.

Surviving is his wife Carol, of 17 years; children, Michael and Elizabeth Krushena of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Julie Parrish of Ann Arbor, and Nora Crumb of New Jersey; step-daughters, Lisa and Patrick O’Brien of New Mexico and Laura Williams of Douglas; grandchildren, Katherine Krushena, Will Krushena, Meghan Krushena, Hannah Parrish, Gretchen Parrish, Conner O’Brien, and Caelin Strom; godson, Douglas Mueller; sister-in-law, Marilyn and Chuck Povlitz; brother-in-law, Ron and Joan Reinhold; many nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be 11 am Monday (October 26) at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 430 152nd Ave; Holland, MI 49424, with Father Charles Hall officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holland Rescue Mission or Christian Neighbors Thrift Shop and Food Pantry.

Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Saugatuck Chapel.
