Lendon D. Bell

Lendon D. Bell, age 57, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Aurora Medical Center. Lendon was born in Racine, September 6, 1958, daughter of the late Clyde Oliver Sr. and Ruby (Nee: Price) Oliver.

Lendon was a graduate of Washington Park High School. She was employed for several years at Siena Center as a CNA. Her pride and joy was owning and operating, Lendon’s Loving Childcare Center. An excellent cook, she will be fondly remembered for her delectable cakes.

More than anything she cherished and devoted her life to her family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, LaTasha (Quincy) Brown, Tavares Oliver, all of Racine, Tiara (Anjelyca) Gails of Norfolk, VA; her grandchildren, Jarasha, Nikendra, Canei, Nykelen, Jakari, Willie, and Keyari; her siblings, Julia (Michael) Witherspoon, Annie (Joe) McLemore, Clyde Oliver Jr., Dale Oliver, Alsalvo Oliver, Timmy Oliver, and Twanna Oliver. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mittie, Theresa, and Ruthie; and brothers, Dennis and Gil.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015, 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Tuesday at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. Memorials to the Cops and Kids Reading Center have been suggested.
