LeeAnn Ellis-Bell, age 66, passed away Tuesday September 15, 2015 in Dayton, OH. LeeAnn was born in Racine on March 10, 1949, daughter of Donald and Arlene (nee: Olson) Ellis.

LeeAnn was a graduate of St. Joseph Grade School, St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1967’ and Dominican College. She was united in marriage to Dave Bell on August 16, 1995. LeeAnn was a Girl Scout Leader and was Assistant Director of Today’s Youth Uke Group at Knapp School. LeeAnn taught for two years and was employed with the Journal Times for nine years. In Dayton, she was employed with O’Neil’s and with Mazer’s. In her spare time, LeeAnn enjoyed making Christmas ornaments for her friends and was a long letter writer for her many pen pals.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, David Bell, mother, Arlene Ellis; daughter, Traci Langley; grandchildren, Brianna and RJ; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda Leet, James Bell, Larry Mathney; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. LeeAnn was preceded in death by her father, Donald; in-laws, Donald Bell, Marianne Mathney, Carol Stover; grandparents, Fred and Frances Olson, Sanders and Carrie Ellis.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Mark Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday morning from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to LeeAnn’s caregivers and friends for all their love and support during this difficult time.
