Lee M. Henby, age 82, of Waconia passed away Monday, October 27, 2025 at New Perspective in Waconia.
No services will be held.
Lee was born November 3, 1942 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Charles Howard and Helen (Fehlman) Meyer. She grew up in Rio De Janeiro until moving to the United States to attend college. Lee was studious in her education, receiving a Bachelors Degree from Beloit College in Wisconsin and learning five languages. She settled in Michigan where she remained until 2023 when she moved to Minnesota to be closer to her daughter.
Lee lived life to the fullest and delighted in all things creative. She enjoyed dancing, music and was an accomplished artist; painting many murals for people and businesses. Rest was found at the beach; her favorite place to be. Lee had a lighthearted soul and loved to have fun. She will be dearly missed.
Lee was preceded in death by her parents Charles Howard and Helen Meyer.
Lee is survived by her loving family: son John Scott (Nora Ferguson) Henby of Linden, VA; daughter Lisa Henby of Waconia; grandchildren John Michael Henby, Samual Christopher (Jane) Henby; former spouse John Edward Henby; brother Scott Wesley (Francis Kich) Meyer; niece and nephew Dr. Patricia Meyer, Alexander James Meyer; other relatives and friends.
