Laurel Ewaschuk

Laurel Louise (Stoneburner) Ewaschuk was born to Eunice (Bruce) and Truman Stoneburner on April 4, 1940 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was employed by the City of Kalamazoo for 37 years in various capacities. She passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ewaschuk and grandson, James Robert Ely, as well as her parents, infant brother, Milford A. Stonburner. Survivors include daughters, Vanya M (Ewaschuk) Ely, her husband, James D. Ely, daughter Tracy L, (Ewaschuk) Zwagerman, her husband, Cameron J. Zwagerman, grandchildren Jacob R. Ely, Jordan D. Ely, his wife Ashley A. and their son, Dylan L. Ely, Bryce J. Zwagerman, Connor J. Zwagerman and Riley L. Zwagerman. Laurel is also survived by her sister, Beatrice L. Beck, a Special cousin, Harold D. Bruce and good friends, Donna B. Ferguson and Janet M. Lamb. The family wishes to thank Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan for all of their support and care during this difficult time. Many thanks also go to friends, brothers and sisters in faith for their many cards, concern and prayers.
