Kurt Weber

Weber, Kurt E. Kalamazoo, Michigan Kurt Everett Joens Weber, age 32, of Kalamazoo, died September 19, 2018, following health complications from the disease of alcohol addiction. He was born and raised in Kalamazoo and attended St. Augustine Elementary. He graduated from Hackett Catholic Central High School in 2004. While in high school he participated in football, theatre and enjoyed playing the drums alongside his fellow band members. Following his passions, Kurt graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and later attended Secchia Institute in Grand Rapids, pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts. He currently enjoyed stand-up comedy, indie music, and comedy podcasts. Kurt loved animals and had recently begun volunteering with the SPCA. His longtime faithful companion had been his dog Kobi, who preceded him in death. Kurt is survived by his parents Larry and Charlotte (Joens) Weber; his sisters Kristen Waber and Kaitlin Weber, and his nephew Jackson Waber, multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.
