Kirk Jeffrey

Kirk Jeffrey, age 42, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away Monday January 22, 2018 at Borgess Medical Center, after a long battle and fight with cancer. Jeffrey was born January 31, 1975 on the Oatlands Plantation in Leesburg, VA the son of Joseph and Dianne (Shaffer) Kirk. He loved spending all his time with his family as he was a loving father and husband. Jeffrey enjoyed the weather, bowling, movies, meteorology, football, especially fantasy football, he was a loyal fan of Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys Football, and Jeffrey will always be remembered for helping other people. Jeffery was an organ donor, and because of his donation someone in need has been blessed with sight. On June 22, 2002 in Portage Jeffrey was united in marriage to his best friend Jennifer Bullis who survives. Also surviving are his Children, Denise Kirk of Lovettsville, VA, Olivia Kirk, Zachrey Kirk, August Kirk, Aubrey Kirk all of Kalamazoo; Parents Joseph and Dianne Kirk of Richmond, VA, two brothers, Joseph (Rebecca) Kirk of Warrenton, VA, James Kirk of Richmond, VA; sister, Dinah (Dan) Schaffer of Richmond, VA; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday January 27, 2018 at Kalamazoo Eagles Lodge, 1332 Branch St. Kalamazoo, MI 49001. Redmond Funeral Home-Kalamazoo.
