Died Wednesday evening May 22, 2019. Ken was born March 12, 1975 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Ronald and Stella (Underwood) Marlett. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident. Ken is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Smith) Underwood; 3 sons, Gage, Matthew, and Blake Underwood; a grandson, Bentley Underwood; his mother, Stella Underwood of Kalamazoo; 13 siblings, James Williams, Shannon (Melissa) Underwood, David (Amanda) Yale, Angela Yale, Michael Yale, Kelli Underwood, Tamica Smith, Sonja Cole, Ronnie (Marie) Cole, Robert Cole, Misty Cole, Desiree Cole, Patricia Cole, and Lacy Hard; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Saturday, June 1st from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Private inurnment will be in Almena Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Humane Society.
