Kenneth Paul Marvin, age 48 of Kalamazoo, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 10, 2021 at home. He was born on March 24, 1973 in South Bend, IN to Ernest and Vicki (Merritt) Marvin.

Ken was a graduate of Grand Haven High School, and attended Muskegon Community College and Portland State University.

Ken was formerly employed with Precision Metals Plus and currently with CNC as a machinist. He had an engineer mindset who enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical. Ken especially enjoyed chemistry and space engineering. He was an avid Jeopardy fan, who was quite good at coming up with the correct answers. He also enjoyed spending time hiking.

Ken is lovingly remembered and missed by his fiancée, Amy Waldron of Kalamazoo; his daughter, Stefanie (Joshua) Marvin Miller of Murfreesboro, TN; his son, Harrison Holthaus of Waukee, IA; his parents, Ernest and Vicki Marvin of Grand Haven; brother, Todd Marvin of Grand Haven; uncle, Paul (Carol) Marvin of Grand Marsh, WI; and many special friends.

The Memorial Service for Ken will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Bytwerk officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Grand Haven Township Lakeshore Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Central Park Players or the Sierra Club.
