Kenneth Buelow

Buelow, Kenneth Carter Portage, MI Passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016. Age 90. Kenneth was born in Battle Creek, MI on September 26, 1926, the son of the late Herbert and Lucile (Bixler) Buelow. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Coaching Football was his life, spending his career coaching for Galesburg-Augusta High School and also serving as Principal for State Tech in Otsego. He is survived by three grandchildren, Shawn (Jordan) Buelow, Shannon Nuyen and Aaron (Heather) Buelow; six great-grandchildren; and his life companion, Helen Bogastchow. He was preceded in death by two children, Stephen Buelow and Susan Williams. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, December 5th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo, MI 49007. A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced later. Memorial contributions may be given to Galesburg High School Football Association.
