Kenneth Lee Norman, age 56, passed away April 23, 2020 at his residence in Kalamazoo, MI. Kenn was born March 3, 1964 and was the son of Charles and Karen Norman. He was a very talented craftsman and self-employed carpenter by trade. In his younger years he was a musician, piano player, and enjoyed skiing. He especially enjoyed socializing with all his friends, mystic fires, clove cigarettes, hunting, fishing, canoeing, camping and cooking over a fire for his friends and family. He was well known as a Red Wings freak, storyteller, and for his love of cats that started with Stan and Pooch. Kenn was is survived by his sister and brother: Sandra (Brad) Ball and John (Stacy) Norman; several nieces and nephews; many friends including special friends: Greg, Jules and Peg. He was preceded in death by his parents. In the words of his friend Greg "Kenn was the best friend a man could ask for, he would literally give you the shirt off his back, he lived an uncompromising life, he had more fun and provided more smiles than 10 lifetimes." Cremation will take place at Langeland Family Cremation Center and burial will take place in Downing Cemetery in Deckerville, MI. Memorials can be made to Greg Knoll for Kenn's celebration of life party that will be held at a later date.
