A lifelong resident of Vicksburg MI, Keith Clifford Dailey, was born August 8, 1954 and died July 5, 2017 both in the town he loved. His parents both deceased, Clifford and Helen Dailey, owned the popular Wee Diner in downtown Vicksburg. Survived by his sister, Cynthia Wolf of Three Rivers, and brother, Don Ellard of Reed City, but preceded in death by his brother, Therman “Buzz” Barton of Three Rivers.
Wed to his high school sweetheart in August of 1977, together they raised three children and wolf dogs. Survived by his former wife, Margie Wiard of Nottawa, his children, Shawn Dailey of Vicksburg, Scott Dailey of Wayland, Jaime Lego of Three Rivers and 6 grandchildren. Keith devoted 28 years in the service of the Kalamazoo Regional Psychiatric Hospital from which he retired in 2009.
Keith spent the last twenty years with his longtime girlfriend, Dawn Belden. Together they traveled the country on his motorcycle visiting national parks and car shows.
Keith’s final birthday celebration will be held at 3PM on Saturday August 5 at his home. All who knew him are welcome. He will be placed alongside his parents in the Vicksburg cemetery on August 8 during a private family ceremony.
