Keith was born in Blue Island, IL the son of the late Samuel Castro and LaVonne Monta (Fischer). Keith went to Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights, CA where he excelled in football and wrestling. This lead him to a football scholarship at Cal Poly Pomona University. On July 6, 1984 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Sandra Castro (Johnson). Keith and Sandra lived a life of blessings and adventures, the most important blessing was raising their only child, Joshua. Keith was a hardworking man who was employed by The Minute Maid Co. in Paw Paw for 15 years. He enjoyed all Chicago Sports but had a real passion for the Chicago Blackhawks. Family and friends were very important to Keith and he made sure others were taken care of before he himself was. Their was a special place in Keith's heart for his wife, son and grandchildren. He showed his love for them in many ways, including Sandra's first string of pearls, many romantic trips to Las Vegas and a passion they both shared together, listening to Reggae music. He passed his love of football to his son and grandson. Filling them in on the greatest plays, and how special it is to be part of a team with fellow men who become your comrades. His first granddaughter, Devon brought the tender side of him to light. Always making sure her needs were met or exceeded to Grandpa's standards. Keith shared private time with second granddaughter Natalie making sure she knew how important it was to act and grow up like a lady.
