Rybicki, Kay Joyce age 81, of Silverbell Estates, Pinal County, Arizona passed away peacefully on Monday, May 9th at the Sun City West Hospice Care with Thaddeus (Ted), her husband of nearly 60 years at her side. She was born Kay Joyce Collet on May 2, 1935 to Gerrit and Kathryn Scherpenisse Collet in Grand Rapids, MI. Kay retired as manager of JoAnn Fabrics in Grand Rapids. She was an excellent seamstress and loved knitting and doing many crafts. After living all their working life in Grand Rapids, in 1992 they retired to Pinal County, AZ. They enjoyed rides in the desert and entertaining friends. Suffering from Parkinson's Disease, she was very active in several Parkinson's support groups. In addition to her husband, she is survived by their three children: Claire (Mark) Schipper of Gun Lake, Michigan, David (Tanya) Rybicki, of Bethel Minnesota, Pamela Julien of Arizona City, AZ, and granddaughter, Shyenne Rybicki of Bethel Minnesota. She is also survived by her sister, Phyllis Church of Arizona City, AZ and brother Clifford Collet of IN. Relatives and friends may visit with her family on July 22, at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW, Grand Rapids, MI from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
