Kathleen Thompson

Kathleen "Kathie" Thompson, age 68, passed peacefully at home in Portage, MI on March 26, 2025. Born September 19, 1956 in Peoria, IL, she moved with her family to Iowa and then settled in Michigan. She graduated from Western Michigan University and enjoyed a career in accounting. Her family holds fond memories of her tending to the flower gardens, sewing clothes, cooking and of her sharp memory for exactly where she had placed anything-a skill she maintained to her final days.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Arthur Thompson; their three beloved children, Cheryl, Lynn and Joel Thompson; her three brothers, William, Douglas and Brian Rowley; and her sister, Diane Wagner. Preceding her in passing were her parents, Raymond James and Rosemary Dehority Rowley, and two brothers, Clifford and Joseph Rowley.

At her request there was not a funeral or memorial service.
