Kathleen A. Wood

Kathleen A. Wood passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from complications of Multiple Sclerosis, at her daughter Kimberly’s home, with family at her bedside. She was born in Joliet, Illinois October 25, 1962. Kathy was a fun loving, compassionate, animal lover.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly, who lovingly cared for her mom during the last several months; her grandchildren, Rayann and Gavin; her mom and dad, Doris and Willis; two brothers, Michael and James (Cheryl); her rescue cats, Midge and BaBa; other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her fiancé, Michael Nathans in August.

Funeral services will be private but a celebration of her life will be held after the holidays.
