Karen Lynch

Karen A. Lynch, age 72, of Otsego, MI passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016 at her home in Otsego. She was born October 10, 1944 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Claire and Irene (Sennyes) Sootsman. Karen was a dog lover and enjoyed watching westerns, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and scrabble, listening to country music, Indian collectables and spending time with her family in Manistee. Surviving are her children, Teresa (Byron Waldo) Rayburn, Donnie (Michelle) Smith both of Otsego and David Smith of Manistee; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mike (Connie) Sootsman of Galesburg, Dora Edmonson of Manistee, Eugene Sootsman of Kalamazoo and Claire "Butch" Sootsman of Comstock. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Sharon Baldwin; nephew, Sammy; brother-in-law, Dale Edmonson and ex-husbands, Don Smith and John Lynch. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later time. Burial of ashes will take place at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego.
