Karen Anthony

Anthony, Karen L. 10/24/1966 - 10/20/2016 Tampa, FL Karen L. Anthony passed away on October 20, 2016 in Tampa, FL after a short illness. Karen was born October 24, 1966 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was a graduate of Portage Northern High School and the Wilma Boyd School of Travel in Pittsburgh, PA. Karen was a dedicated and loving mother, raising three beautiful children; Brittany Anthony of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Kiaya Anthony of Chicago, Illinois, and Hunter Anthony U.S Navy. Other surviving loved ones include; her mother, Nancy Kelso of Portage, Michigan; father Henry Pieratt and Karen of Kalamazoo, Michigan; brother Tim Pieratt; Teri; nephew Brandon Pieratt and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her so much. Karen was previously employed by the Kalamazoo Gazette, State Farm Insurance in Kalamazoo, and most recently Progressive Insurance in Tampa, Florida as an insurance specialist. Cremation has taken place. A memorial celebration will be held at a later date. Donations in Karen's memory can be directed to the American Cancer Society.
