June A. DeHaan (Schulz), aged 87 of Grand Rapids, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Covenant Village of the Great Lakes. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. DeHaan; her siblings, Doris Succop and Donna Dummer. She is survived by her children, Sally (Robert) Dykstra, Dr. James (Tammy) DeHaan, Tom (Cherie) DeHaan, Daniel DeHaan; her grandchildren, Jill Szyszko, Kathryn (Adam) MacRae, William DeHaan; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Olivia and Danny Szyszko and Elizabeth MacRae; her brother, A. Richard Schulz; her brother-in-law, Jack DeHaan; sister-in-law, Ileen Felix; many nieces, nephews, and friends. June was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. She was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. A service to celebrate June’s life will be celebrated on Tuesday October 31, at 11:00 am at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home – 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW at with Rev. Craig Bickel as celebrant. Burial in Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Monday Oct 30, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the service begins at 11:00 am.
