Julie Stamm

Died Thursday afternoon September 20, 2018 at her residence. Julie was born November 22, 1953 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Richard and Zita (Kovach) Walker. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with Bronson Hospital for over 30 years, retiring in 2011. Julie was also a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Walker; a granddaughter, Zoe Stamm; 3 brothers, John, Victor and Michael Walker; and 3 sisters, Linda Layton, Patricia Harmon, and Carolyn Mannes. Julie is survived by 2 sons, Henry "Hank" (Tamra) Stamm, III of Vicksburg and Justin (Jeannette) Stamm of Portage; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Richard Walker of Plainwell and Daniel (Tina) Walker of Fennville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Funeral Mass will be offered 11 o'clock Friday, September 28th at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1150 W. Centre Ave. Visitation will be 4-7pm Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Private burial will take place at a later date.
