Julie Jeane Pauly, age 59, passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side, Sunday, July 3, 2016. She was born in Milwaukee, March 24, 1957, daughter of the late Don and Arlene (Nee: Brill) Olson.

Julie was raised in Racine and graduated from St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1975”. She had been employed as a CNA and as a church secretary but her passion was in the role of a caregiver whether in the capacity of Home care for Alzheimer patients or for her own family. Julie also started the homeless program at St. Edward’s Catholic Church which went community wide and eventually transformed into HALO. She worked for HALO for 5 years and was involved for ten years. Julie enjoyed crafts, card making, cross stitch, sewing and baking. She loved traveling and had been to almost every state. One of her favorite places was Myrtle Beach which on October 4, 2006 she married the love of her life, Anthony “Patrick” Pauly. Julie was devoted daughter, sister, wife, and friend who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Patrick; her stepson, Tony Pauly; her brother, Kenneth Olson of Racine; sister, Mari Olson of Burlington; nieces and nephew, Sara, Anna, Michael, and Jamie; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Brian Olson.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 8, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet Friday 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Kim and Sinequa for their loving and compassionate care.
