Julia Murphy

Julia Jean (Keiley) Murphy, 83 born August 13, 1935, died on March 28, 2019 at home in Kalamazoo, MI. Julia attended Hillsdale High School, class of '53, and Western Michigan University, BA Ed '57x. She was employed with the Defense Logistics Agency of the Department of Defense in Battle Creek, MI for many years. Julia is sadly missed by her sons Michael D. (Suzanne Marshall) and Thomas E. (Cathe Springfield) Murphy, daughter & son-in-law Sarah Anne & Brad Major and grandsons Joe Murphy and James Major. Brother Michael Keiley and sister & brother-in-law Edith (Keiley) & Thomas Bletcher remember their sister with love. Brother William R. Keiley died in 2001, in Seattle WA. Julia was the daughter of Seth Wm Keiley, step-father & mother, G. Franklin & Ila Deuel Trine, and granddaughter of Benjamin C. and Edith Julia Deuel. A memorial gathering of Julia's family & friends will be held at a later date.
