Judy Phetteplace

Judy Jo Phetteplace, age 75, of Haslett Formerly of Hillsdale, MI and Kalamazoo, MI. Judy Jo Phetteplace was born on July 13, 1941 and passed away peacefully on Friday, July 29, 2016 at the age of 75. Judy retired from Bronson Hospital after many years as a nurse. She was a kind and caring person who just wanted to help anvone in need. She was passionate about animals and started a dog sitting service after retirement. She loved her grandsons and also her trips to Florida. Judy was preceded in death by her son, Hugh and her husband, James. She leaves behind her son, Thomas Phetteplace; daughter, Linda (Michael) Burton; and grandsons, Noah, Ethan and Joseph; two sisters, Jackie Suleski and Sandra May. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judy's name to your local Humane Society. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel.
