Judith Laverack

Age 73, passed away at Borgess Hospital on July 5, 2019. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI on May 15, 1946, the daughter of Carl and Virgiline (Haske) Hard. Judith was kind, loving and generous. She loved her family and leaves them with many wonderful memories to cherish. She enjoyed being at home sitting outside on her deck where she could watch her grandchildren play. Judith was a wonderful cook and loved having family and friends gather for meals. She enjoyed going camping and spending time up north. She served as a Boy Scout Committee Chair and a Girl Scout Leader. Judith's warm smile and laughter will be missed by all who loved her. On May 16, 1964, she married Robert L. Laverack Jr. who preceded her in passing in 2017. She was also preceded in passing by her father and a sister Carol Owel. She is survived by her loving children, Janettee Laverack, Robert Laverack III, Christopher Laverack; grandchildren, Anna, Kathrine, Alexandria Laverack and Steven and Evan Cook; great-grandchildren, Isiah and Ariana Gonzales; sister, Sandra Rook; her mother; many nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM. A service to honor her life will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
