Judy A. Kelly (Brundage), Mother, Sister, Aunt and dear friend, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 in Portage, as a resident of Brookdale Memory Care. She was born the 2nd of two daughters to parents, Ray V and Revenna L (Long) Brundage. After growing up in Parchment, she graduated from Kalamazoo Central High in 1953 and moved to California for a short time before moving back to marry and start a family. After the birth of her two children, she returned to California for the remainder of her most of her life. She retired in 1996 from Mountain View Police Dept in California where she was respected by more than one Chief as their executive assistant and enjoyed working with the community and the officers that became her close friends. After retirement, summers found Judy in South Haven where she made many, long lasting friendships. She enjoyed the Lake Michigan sunsets, time on the golf course, skiing in Lake Tahoe and traveling, while maintaining full-time residency in California. She was always smiling and laughing, giving everyone compliments, showing concern for others and always generous to a fault (just try to pay a tab if you were with her at a restaurant)!! Everyone loved being around her! She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Lois Nichols (Brundage). Surviving are her loving children, Kevin Kelly of St Joseph, MI and Jill Kingsbury of Portage, MI; was the favorite Aunt to her niece, Judy (Steve) Smith of Eden, Utah; nephew, Jeff (Rose) Nichols of Fremont, CA; along with 7 grand nieces and nephews; and 20 great grand nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at Brookdale Assisted Living and Memory Care in Portage for the loving care that they gave to Judy for the past 5 years. Cremation has taken place and no visitation or services will be held. To share a message with the family or sign Judith's online guestbook, please visit: www.NeptuneSociety.com
