Judith DeWitt

Judith Ann DeWitt 75 of Traverse City died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born on June 20, 1938 in Detroit the daughter of Karl and Marian (Marks) Spunich.

Judy worked as a meter reader and retired as a dispatch operator with MichCon after 22 years of service.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Judy enjoyed the outdoors, canoeing, riding horse, camping, traveling, working on her yard and her time on Bass Lake. She was a great storyteller and quite witty.

Judy is survived by her husband, Milo 'Mike' DeWitt; they were married on Sept. 24, 1960 in Traverse City; her children, Richard Lee DeWitt and Kelli Ann Dewitt both of Traverse City; sister, Gail Spunich of Missoula, MO; brother, Karl (Linda) Spunich of Charlestown, WV, Gordon (Jill) Spunich of Spokane, WA, Michael (Donna) Mulholland of Detroit and Daniel Mulholland of Ypsilanti.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Christan Lee DeWitt.
