Juanita Garcia

Garcia, Juanita Otsego, MI Juanita passed away Friday, September 01, 2017 at the Upjohn Community Care Center in Kalamazoo. She was born in Cadillac, MI, August 29, 1918 to Jay and Nina (Robinson) Warner, the oldest girl of 7 children. She grew up with her siblings during the great depression. As an adult, Juanita left Michigan to live in Alaska for several years, she then moved to California where she worked for Warner Brothers and United Artists. She then made the move back to Michigan where she worked at the nursing home in Plainwell for many years. Juanita loved gardening, cooking, reading, playing the organ and spending time outdoors. Surviving are her sister, Valeria Kortokrax; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Clarence Warner, Rodney Warner, Ruth Riedel, Verlene McNally. Friends may visit with Juanita's family from 10 A.M., Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego until the time of the funeral at 11:00 A.M.
