Joyce Marie Slater, 64 of Traverse City passed away Wednesday June 8, 2016. She was born on April 15, 1952 to Norman and Irene Pickard.
She was preceded in death by her father, Norman E. Pickard and her life partner Dan Vert.
She is survived by her mother, Irene F. Pickard; daughter, Wendy (John) Gerber; two grandchildren, Hannah and Samuel; two brothers, John (Peggy) Pickard, Joe (Mary) Pickard, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many close friends.
A celebration of life will be held from 4pm to 8pm, Tuesday June 21, 2016 in the conference room at Bay Hills Apartment Complex office building.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to one of the following; ASPCA for prevention of animal cruelty or Cherryland Humane Society.
