Joyce Elaine Henyon, age 85, of Elkhart, IN, formerly of Saugatuck died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the East Lake Terrace in Elkhart, IN.

Joyce was born in Three Rivers, MI to C.LaVern and Thelma (Kankamp) Lee in 1931. She attended Mendon High School and in 1950 married Lewis Henyon. Early in life Joyce was a secretary at Pawating Hospital while later in life a secretary of sales at the Tower Marine. She enjoyed gardening, painting, writing and antiques. Joyce was a member of the Saugatuck Garden Club, the Jackson Archery Team and volunteered at South Haven Hospice and Holland Hospital. Her husband Lewis Henyon preceded her in death in 1987.

She is survived by her children: Patrick and Debra Henyon of Fenton, MI and Darleen Henyon of Elkhart, IN; grandchildren: Kelsey and Joshua Wargo and Jessi and Jason White; great grandchildren: Lauren, Audrey and Wyatt.

A funeral service will be 12:00 pm, Friday, September 23, 2016 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Saugatuck Chapel, 520 Lake Street in Saugatuck. Reverend Dr. Daniel Miller will be officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery in Saugatuck.
