Joyce Elaine Nichols

Nichols, Joyce Elaine Kalamazoo Joyce Elaine Nichols passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, in Kalamazoo. She was born July 24, 1938, in Kalamazoo the daughter of the late Frank J. and Grace I. (Jackson) Johnson and had been a lifelong area resident. On February 3, 1956, Joyce married Russel L. Nichols who preceded her in death on July 19, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, David, James, and Albert Johnson. Joyce is survived by her children, Terri Ward, Everett Miller, Cindy Nelson, Russel (Evey) Nichols, Jr., and Kristine Nichols; grandchildren, Brandy Nelson, Rebecca Ward, Carrie Williams, Justin Peters, Scott Ward, Amanda (Bob) Strunk, Kaitlyn Nichols, Naomi (Allen Burgh) Semenczuk, Kendra Semenczuk, and Tyler Nichols; and fourteen grandchildren. Visitation will be held 10 to 11AM Monday, February 13, 2023, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 411 E Centre Ave, Portage, MI 49002, where services will begin at 11AM.
