Joseph V. Biondi Jr.

Joseph V. Biondi Jr., age 59, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Hospice Alliance Hospice House, Pleasant Prairie. He was born in Racine, June 13, 1957, son of Joseph V. and Mary A. (Nee: Fischer) Biondi.

Joe was a graduate of St. Bonaventure “Class of 1976”. He was employed for twenty years with Reliable Steel Rule Die Company. A sports enthusiast, Joe played basketball, baseball, hockey, golf and also was a huge Packers, Cubs, Celtics, Blackhawks, and Red Soxs fan. Joe also enjoyed reading and watching T.V. He will be remembered fondly by his family and neighbors for the many epic backyard baseball games he organized and his personal hockey rink he built.

He will be dearly missed by his mother, Mary Biondi; his sisters and brothers, Mary (Gerald) Kasinski, Robert (Glenda) Biondi, Michael Biondi, John Biondi, Richard (Debra) Biondi, Ann Biondi, Gina (Anthony) Dentici; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Biondi.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016, 10:30 A.M. at St. Richard Catholic Church, 1503 Grand Avenue. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Tuesday at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Wednesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 10:30 A.M. Memorials to St. Richard Catholic Church for Masses to be said have been suggested.
