Joice Salisbury

Joice Gene Salisbury, age 87, of Kalamazoo, formerly of Paw Paw, MI passed away June 25, 2016. She was born March 16, 1929, in Paw Paw to the late Carl and Ruth (Stevens) German. Joice is survived by her children, Craig (Brenda) Salisbury, Deeona (Dave) Daly, Steven Salisbury, Tina (Chris) Boyer and Melody Salisbury. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Joice was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 2006, her son Kevin in 2009, sister, Nancy and two brothers, Carl and Ralph. Joice worked as a nurse for many years prior to retirement, in Michigan and Illinois. Joice was known for her great sense of humor and love for people. She was devoted to the Catholic Church and enjoyed time spent with her family. She enjoyed movies, football and most of all, reading the newspaper. She will be missed by her loving family and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 28, 2016, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 W., Michigan Ave, Paw Paw. Mass of Christian burial will follow on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw, with Fr. Joseph Xavier officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
