John Kruizenga

John G. Kruizenga, age 65,of Greenville, SC, husband of Patricia Sullivan Kruizenga, died Monday, August 22, 2016. Born in Kalamazoo, MI, he was the son of Garrett J. and Christine H. Van Loo Kruizenga. Mr. Kruizenga attended college in Michigan, served in the U.S. Army Reserves and retired from Western Land Service as a Landman. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughter, Paige Dowling, of Greenville; sister, Sue (Kruizenga) Layne and husband, Steve; and niece, Katie Layne, of Schoolcraft, MI. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Monica Catholic Church in Kalamazoo, MI on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. A reception for family and friends will follow at Martell's, Parkview Hills, at 12:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to The Arc- Grosse Point/Harper Woods, for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, 20475 Sunningdale Park, Grosse Point, MI 48236.
