John Busch

John R. Busch, age 75, passed away in Kalamazoo, MI. He was born April 17, 1940 in Marcellus, MI the son of Arthur William and Myrtle Isabelle (Olsen) Busch. On September 18, 1965 in Marcellus, MI he married Leone J. Middlestadt who preceded him in death on June 23, 2007. John served in the U.S. Air Force and Army National Guard. He had lived at his current residence since 1980 and previous to that in Marcellus. He retired from General Motors after 35 years. John enjoyed his dog Napoleon, who was his faithful companion. Surviving are three sisters, Eleanor (Gerald) Melville of Marcellus, Joan Vercler of Constantine, MI and Sally (David) Timm of Three Rivers, MI; two brothers, Robert Busch of Riverside, CA and James (Donna) Busch of Three Rivers, MI; one son, Gregory Busch of Kalamazoo and two step-children, Bonnie (Charles) Six of Marcellus and Daniel Middlestadt of Parchment, MI and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Cisco and one brother Arthur Busch. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 PM. Monday, December 5, 2016 In the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow immediately at 1 PM with burial following in the Marcellus Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Marcellus V.F.W. Post 4054.
