John “Bosco” S. Mano, age 94, passed away Tuesday, December 01, 2015 at his residence. John was born in Racine, August 15, 1921, son of the late Joseph and Catterina (Nee: Mazzol) Mano.

John proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army stationed in the Pacific Theatre. On September 1, 1951 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church he was united in marriage to Elsie Nasticky who preceded him in death, February 1, 2009. John retired from Twin Disc after many years of employment. He was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church. John cherished his daily trip to Target where he always enjoyed the company of the employees and searching for the best deals in the clearance rack.

He will be dearly missed by his son, Dr. Thomas (Char) Mano; his granddaughter, Paige (Juan) Barreto; his nephews, Mark Mano, Barry (Jean) Mano, The Most Reverend Richard J. Sklba, William Sklba, Paul (Gail) Sklba, Bryan Aller; brother-in-law, Joseph (Carol) Nasticky and their children, Jeff (Julie) Nasticky, Melissa (Mike) Malinger; great nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Monday, December 7, 2015, 11:00 A.M. with The Most Reverend Richard J. Sklba officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M.
