She was born on September 23, 1932 in Elkhart, Indiana the daughter of Everett and Dorothy Bell (Stull) Van Horn.
Joann was fornerly employed at the NCO Club in Fort Campbell, KY, the Officers Club, Fort Huachuca, Arizona, Interlochen Arts Academy and retired from the Pinestead Reef Resort in Traverse City. Joann traveled to Europe, Mexico and several states. She liked to crochet and read. Joann was quite the crafter, making beautiful all occasion cards.
Joann is survived by her daughter, Dottie (Wally) Weber, son, Gerald (Cristina) Rebone, daughters; Tara Gard and Mary (Dan) Streeter; grandchildren, David (Kristina) Weber, Tonya (John) Jacobs, Justin (Gail) Weber, Thomas A. Gard Jr., Breann Gard, Andrew Rebone and 5 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas Rebone and son, Michael Rebone.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army or to St. Judes Research Hospital.
