Joan Conolly

Joan Theresa Conolly, age 82, of Paw Paw, MI passed away Sunday morning, Nov. 22, 2015 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. She was born December 15, 1932 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Sophia T. (Wilmowski) Kruta. Joan was an accountant for Shakespeare Company in Kalamazoo and for the Paw Paw Public Schools. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw, MI., St. Mary's Altar Society, Brother Henry Aubin Missionary Group, Eucharistic Minister, and a member of the LakeView Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, camping, quilting club, card making and paper crafting hand stampin club and square dancing for 35 years. On September 6, 1952 in Paw Paw Joan was united in marriage to Norman E. Conolly who survives. Also surviving are daughter, Dawn (Ken) Conolly-Duffey of Lakeland, FL; two grandchildren, Jason (Arnim) Wedge, USMC of Fallbrook, CA and Nicholas Wedge of Oklahoma City, OK; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Dietz of Paw Paw, and Gladys Drenkhahn of Chapel Hill, TN; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday, (11/27) 5 to 8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a Rosary will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, (11/28) 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Joseph Xavier celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society.
