Joan Bero

Went to be with the Lord Tuesday afternoon August 6, 2019. Joan was born April 27, 1951 in Battle Creek, Michigan a daughter of Ebeling and Grace (Herlein) Bosma. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Bronson Hospital as an LPN for over 33 years before retiring. Joan was a member of Grace Christian Reformed Church. She loved helping people, enjoyed babysitting, and caring for her dogs. Joan was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Jim Bero on November 21, 2018. She is survived by a sister, Karen Dunn of Kalamazoo; 2 brothers-in-law, Tim Bero of Kalamazoo and Bruce (Candace) Bero of Shelbyville, KY; and a niece. A graveside service will be held 10 o'clock Monday, August 12th in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 11 o'clock Monday, August 12th at Grace Christian Reformed Church, 1724 Whites Rd. Visitation will be 4-7pm Sunday, August 11th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St. Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
