Joan Armbruster

With her loving family by her side, Joan E. Armbruster, age 63, passed away Thursday evening, January 12, 2017. Joan was born in Milwaukee on March 3, 1953, daughter of the late Richard and Carol (nee: Casey) Lorenz.

On June 14, 1975, Joan married the love of her life, James Armbruster. She was a member of St. Mary’s By The Lake Catholic Church. A loving, loyal, dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, Joan will be best remembered for her love of the Green Bay Packers and her greater love for family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of forty one years, James; children, Alex (Katie) Armbruster, Casey (Nathan) Karaway; granddaughters, Anna, Kailyn “K-Bar”, and Brynn Armbruster, Charlotte Karaway; siblings, Sue (Jerry) Neitman, Kathy (Tim) Torres, Mary (J.S.) Holbrook, Mark (Susan) Lorenz, Patti Lorenz (Dee), Terry “Buzz” (Kevin) O’Neil, Steve Lorenz (Julie Pankonen); sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Barb Lorenz, John (Barb) Armbruster, Tom (Mary) Armbruster; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Joan was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael; nephew, Scott and niece, Emma.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 20, 2017, 5:00 p.m. Visitation is from 3-5 p.m. and the service is at 5 p.m.
