Jim Strand

Jim Strand was preceded by his mother Ruth Strand (Hamilton) and his father George Strand. He was also preceded by his two brothers and sister Oliver, Lorie and Joyce Strand. Remaining are his wife Patricia Strand and his two children Candy Jean Staggs and George Joseph Strand and their children. Jim Strand was a graduate of Otsego High School, a veteran in the army after the North Korea War and a graduate at Western Michigan University. Jim Strand had worked at Welch's in Lawton for approximately 35 years, had been a truck farmer, artist, photographer and most recently a maker of wood animals from his workshop. He will be missed by his family and friends. No memorial services are planned.
