Jessye Amman

Jessye Mariah Amman was born July 10th, 1983 in Owosso Memorial Hospital in Owosso MI. She lived in Chesaning, MI until she was four years old when her parents Daniel and Marge Amman moved to Traverse City, Mi in 1987. She has 2 sisters, Sarah and Danielle Amman. Jessye had 2 sons, Christian Daniel Studebaker age 12 and Logan Aaron Pangonis age 7.

Jess loved all breeds of animals, as a little girl she would sneak stray cats, and dogs into our home. She had a gift with all animals. She had a horse as a child and continued her love of horses. She has a beautiful horse named Jose. She fought a tough battle of this horrible disease named cancer, but through all the pain, she continued to fight "Not, leaving till I'm ready!" in the end, she passed peacefully with people that love her.

Jessye is survived by her sons, Christian Studabaker and Logan Pangonis; parents, Daniel Amman and Marjorie Amman; sisters, Sarah and Danielle Amman; grandparents, Jim and Doris Amman, Melina Carlyon and Jon and Randy Swartzmiller; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her great grandparents; cousins, Scott Kulhanek and Charles Coulter Dupree.

Celebration of life will be held at 12:00 PM to 04:00 PM on Saturday on May 30, 2015 at the home of her Grandmother, Melinda Carlyon, 9395 Lou-Len Road, Traverse City, MI, 49684. We will keep people informed through Facebook and Lifestory's webpage.
