Jerrold Perrin

Died Monday evening, December 17, 2018. Jerrold was born April 16, 1941 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, son of Cornelius and Rose (Brown) Perrin. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident. He was first employed by Stafford-Smith Refrigeration for 22 years and was a self-employed farmer for over 50 years. Jerrold was also a member of the South Haven Elks and Moose Lodges and the Climax American Legion. Jerrold was especially proud of the Pasture Golf Charity, that he co-founded in 2003, supporting the Climax-Scotts area. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Frank Perrin; a sister-in-law, Sherry Perrin; and 2 nephews, Mark and Scott Perrin in November of 1972. On September 3, 1976, he was united in marriage to Bonna M. (Acker) Perrin who survives. Also surviving, 5 sons, Robb (Dana) Perrin of Scotts, Jon (Jennifer Hess) Perrin of Scotts, Todd (Margie) Perrin of Kalamazoo, Sean (Darla) Perrin of Scotts, and Jeff (Susan) Sweet of Lowell, MI; 13 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rose Marie Coy of Kalamazoo, Karen (David) Lauren of Reed Springs, MO; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be offered 11 o'clock Saturday, December 22nd at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 5855 East W. Ave. Vicksburg. Private burial will take place at a later date. Friends may join the family for a time of fellowship at the Rob Perrin residence, 12265 East S. Ave., Scotts, immediately following services.
