Jerriann Meninga

Meninga, Jerriann 10/5/1938 - 10/8/2022 Richland Jerriann Meninga of Richland, MI passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the age of 84. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI on October 5, 1938, the daughter of Jesse and Ardith (Trop) Haithcoat. Jerri graduated from Richland High School in 1956. She loved spending time outside, mainly taking time to garden and golf. More than anything she loved spending time with her family and friends. Jerriann is preceded in her passing by her husband: Ronald Meninga; children: David, Cindy, and Ronnie; and her siblings: Alfred Haithcoat, John Haithcoat, and Nancy Zamora. Left to cherish Jerriann's loving memory are her children: Penny Seaver, Allen (Chris) Hamilton, and James (Barbara) Hamilton; step-children: Lester Meninga, Margie Meninga, Kenneth Meninga, Ronda Schneider, and Steve (Kimberly) Meninga; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. In accordance with Jerriann's wishes a celebration of her life will be held at Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home, 120 South Woodhams Street, Plainwell, MI 49080, with a time for visiting on Monday, October 17, 2022, between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Jerriann will be laid to rest at Prairie Home Cemetery of Richland Township, MI following the service. Memorials made in Jerri's memory may be directed to the American Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Institute. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
